Acceptance of documents

Acceptance of applications, requests, statements, corrections, and certificates

Documents (applications, requests, statements, corrections, and certificates) may be submitted to the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office in person or by mail.

Acceptance of applications to be forwarded to international organisations

The Hungarian Intellectual Property Office forwards PCT applications, European patent applications, Community trademark and Community design applications to the relevant international organisations, on payment of fees. Applications are accepted both in person and by mail.

How much does it cost?

Acceptance of documents is free of charge.
Forwarding of applications to international organisations costs HUF 10.700 except for PCT applications costs 11.800 HUF.
